In October 2025, Inchcape’s Global Board of Directors, led by CEO Duncan Tait, visited Peru as part of the “Accelerate” program. Inchcape is the world’s leading independent automotive distributor, representing premium brands such as BMW, Subaru, Mazda, Jaguar, Land Rover, among others, across more than 40 global markets. This visit was part of the “Accelerate+” strategy aimed at achieving 10% global market share.

Inmerzum was selected for an unprecedented technological milestone: to develop a Virtual Reality application that would allow the Global CEO and his Board of Directors to experience Peru’s logistics capabilities in an immersive way. The 360° VR Video application for Meta Quest offers a virtual visit to the logistics warehouse located in Lurín, Lima-Peru, showcasing the real day-to-day operations of receiving, storing, and dispatching spare parts and vehicles from the automotive brands they manage.

The experience, deployed across five Meta Quest headsets, allowed Duncan Tait and international executives to directly experience in Peru a Virtual Reality solution developed locally.

This project demonstrated not only Inchcape Peru’s logistics capabilities in distributing global automotive brands, but also their vision of innovation and digital transformation. The choice of Peruvian Virtual Reality technology by the global CEO of a worldwide automotive corporation validated the technical level achieved by Inmerzum and positions Peru as an innovation hub in Virtual Reality for world-class corporate solutions.
